2. Make case of how we can possibly win? I know...m
What needs to happen for either scenario?
3. Do we give Archie a half to work with with the ones if the game gets out of hand?
4. Do we give Carter any playing time?
5. From Bama's perspective, what kind of game plan do they enter the game with? That is, go with their base defense as this will be a scrimmage for them...or do they seek to run up the score and blitz like crazy?
Unfortunately for Golesh, his USF team looks wildly overmatched this year, at least on paper. Tennessee didn’t have as many blue-chip recruits as last year’s Alabama squad, but this is another level of challenge entirely...
USF QB Byrum Brown talks about his first 2 games of the year, Coach Golesh, the vibe around the program, his thoughts on Alabama coming to town, the future of USF football & the on campus stadium, and more!
Hellooo everyone it is week 3 & with that our predictions thread is back upon us.
Unfortunately this week we have a bit of a throw away game imo. I am curious to see if CAG pulls out several trick plays as we have nothing to lose or if he opts to save that stuff for conference play.
I’m just hoping none of our key players get hurt. Bama is pissed and will prob pummel us into the dirt. We will be in attendance although! Gonna be a hot one. Word is it’s almost sold out hoping there’s at least a lot of green and not only red in the stadium!
I have been within one score of the final for each game thus far. Conference play will see much closer games. My prediction for this one
This press conference almost killed my will to live. The Sports Information Director let it continue until people ran out of questions but after about 20 minutes the questions just became time wasters. Leo Haggarty asked two questions that made me almost stand up and walk out. Both questions had preambles. The first preamble didn't have anything to do with his question. Alex Golesh was so confused that he said he didn't understand the question. Leo's second question had a preamble that started off with -- and I'm not even exaggerating -- Leo mentioning Admiral Yamamoto and paraphrasing his quote: “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant..."
Why did they schedule this game? What is their compensation, a percentage of ticket sales? They don’t care about money and make plenty by just inviting a team like USF to their campus.
Do they have that many alums in the Tampa area?
I guess an easy way to get some FL recruits to a game but again they have no recruiting budget constraints.
I see that UConn lost their starting QB for the season Saturday in their loss to Georgia State. Might be note worthy since they are on our schedule. Now back to Bama talk.
Thought there would be more discussion about him from the first couple games.
You can tell he's young at the position, see the stupid pass interference against FAMU.
But made up for it with the 2 INTS and generally solid play. 6'4" safety that is just learning the position? He's got a high ceiling.

The claw officially closed Labor Day weekend. Good nostalgic article on the founding golf team’s memory of when they first broke ground on the claw and some good pictures.
There are three names I'm holding back to make sure they show up that are committed elsewhere and a few underclassmen I have to build profiles for, but here are the important ones minus the surprises that may or may not be there.
