A source close to Cherenfant told me that three schools are in good shape with the No. 90 overall ranked prospect in the Rivals150. Those schools are USF, St. John's and Memphis. The source said that Cherenfant had a great visit to USF. He also mentioned that Bulls assistant coach Jason Slay stopped in at Calvary Christian Academy on Monday.
Another source told me that CBG texts Cherenfant every day, Slay hits him up a couple times a week and Rowe hits up Cherenfant a few times a week as well. So, Cherenfant is hearing from USF almost every day.
Cherenfant has taken two OV to St. John's and will take his second OV to Memphis next week. He told me that Memphis will be the final visit.
Cherenfant would be a very good get for USF. If USF could sign Anthony Robinson, Carl Cherenfant and Myles Che in the fall that would be huge.
