We need 5 wins in 9 games to bowl. 5 games are on the road and college road games for most teams, much less mediocre ones, are tough.
Our last road win was October 26, 2019, against ECU.

The Rays announced a deal Tuesday to build a new stadium in downtown St.

The team is set to announce a deal Tuesday to build a new stadium in downtown St. Petersburg. A news conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.

The 30,000-seat domed facility would be built near the current Tropicana Field site as part of the 86-acre Historic Gas Plant District redevelopment project. The new stadium would open for the 2028 season.
Stadium cost would be in excess of $1.2 billion, with contributions from the team, St. Petersburg and Pinellas County.

Is anyone questioning the progress week to week, and even last year compared to this year for Byron Brown. No question he is talented. Yes, he can run. Is there is someone better in the wings (Israel Carter)? Will he get a chance as a true freshman? I, for one, think the next two weeks will be very important for him to establish who he is as a quarterback. We need the best option to lead us now. We can’t wait a year or two. I’d be happy if it was Brown but I am beginning to think I might be putting too much blame on the receivers (I know that should be a heavy recruitment priority). Any thoughts?

Hey all I've been extremely distracted the last few weeks and I just wanted to give everyone a little update as to why I have not been around as much or posting as much content as usual. Back in mid-July, my stepfather went into the hospital following a car accident a few months earlier with major physical impairments. It also turns out he has major dementia and the reinjury of his hip basically sent him in a downward spiral. My parents live about 90 minutes from me and my family so I've been driving back and forth when I can to help my mother in her late-70s deal with everything and taking her to hospitals and so forth. My stepfather has been placed in hospice care in the nursing home and it is now a ticking clock so I'm sort of on a clock waiting to see what happens now with him while trying to help my mom and also be present for my wife and kids on top of running this site and my other job responsibilities.

I thank everyone for a little patience right now and I apologize if I happen to miss something or it takes me a minute to get up a commit story or whatever but that is what is going on in the background.

The defense is much better than last year. However, it's still not great. We're statistically much better than last year and made it to being a statistically below average defense.

Defense ranks 98th in YPG allowed at 389.3 and 88th in PPG allowed at 27.33. That's out of 130 schools.

Last year's defense allowed 41.2 PPG (only Colorado was worse) and 516.6 YPG (worst in FBS).

Iv been in Doak and Jordan-Hare at the college level, and all i can say is that the atmosphere yesterday was very comparable to any GameDay setting iv been in at those other places! The fans were great, i think it definitely inspires players when they can feel and hear the support from the crowd, especially on D. I really hope USF fans can start showing up week in and week out in that capacity, I know wins will help that, but unconditional support is part of being a prestigious program. All in all I had a great time, and that game had me hooked until the end.
