Man his last touchdown run was something special. This kid is getting better each week it seems, and it appears the speed of the game is slowing down. I was admittingly skeptical, these small tiny RB types can be hits or misses, and usually misses but he uses his size and explosiveness to get through holes in a hurry. Injuries have forced his hand as I would still like to see a bit more girth because on occasion he gets knocked down to easy, and he's still a liability in pass protection...but I could see a bright future for him. A few brought up Sproles, and he does have that type of play in him. He needs to bulk up a bit, more so in the legs, to sustain his balance on arm tackles, but as he gets stronger, and more experienced he should be a real lightning bug for us. When his shoulders are square to the line he's tough for tacklers to get a bead on and that's when he can get a head of steam.
We are now seeing what Blustein was raving about, ditto for Boyles too. Now if we can hold onto Ray, another one of the kids he raves about....we'll be doing good.
