We spoke with three-star center Ebenezer “EB” Dowuona after his visit to USF ended on Friday. He said that he plans to use his fifth and final official visit. Thursday we spoke with Dowuona’s high school coach, Joab Jerome, who told us that he has been working on scheduling an official visit to Pittsburgh for Dowuona.
Meanwhile, 2020 four-star center John Hugley took a surprise unofficial visit to Pittsburgh today. This is noteworthy because it is the fourth unofficial visit to Pitt this year for the big man out of Cleveland, OH, and because Hugley will return to Pitt next week for his official visit.
There is also some chatter that Hugley gave a silent verbal to Pitt today and next weekend’s official visit is mainly to answer any questions his parents have before he announces his school choice publicly.
Right now, only Dowuona and his camp know for sure where things stand. We believe that USF is in very good shape here. We also believe that within the next 12 days Dowuona will publicly commit to USF.
