Seems like the play of our safeties for the past few years has really been poor. Fullwood hasn't seem to developed and is weak. Godwin seems to have gotten slow, as he has added beach muscles rather football muscles. Wisconsin transfer Austin Hudson is no where to be found on the field for some reason. He even started some games as a freshman there.
Jaymon Thomas is the only bright spot and many on this board were shocked that he passed up some more senior players on the depth chart. Now we know why.
Next year this is hope with Craig Watts coming off his redshirt. He and Thomas could perhaps be a good duo. However, maybe we need to find another Jamie Byrd via the JUCO route?
