I was told that USF Defensive End Starter and one of the top juco transfers Demetrius Hill is likely to transfer closer to home In Illinois after spring semester ends. Would be a huge loss. He had 19 tackles the last 6 games of last year, one of the best defensive players in the second half of season.
Not final, but that's what he's leaning on doing.

Good news is that it allow some of our best hometown players and recruits to see major pt at defensive end.

I heard that Eric Lee and Mike Love are 1st team going into spring. They're moving Josh Josh Black from Buck LB to Defensive End. Josh Black and Vincent Jackson are expected to be the backups and see major pt. Like Joey Knight said, expectations are Huge for Josh Black. He's considered the best potential pass rusher on Team despite his height and length. He's likely to overtake one of those.

Derrick Calloway and Deadrin Senat will be starters at Defensive Tackle. They are moving Eric Mayes from Defensive End to Defensive Tackle where he's expected to gain prime minutes. He will also help out depth at dend. I not hear good or bad about bronson.

They are moving Jamie Byrd to that vaunted Huskie Safety/LB hybrid position. Leader of the D this year, Allen loves him. Tajee Fullwood is expected to definitely take one of the other starting safety spots.Allen has big eexpectations for him.

Lamar Robbins is working hard to come back from what he feels was a disappointing sophisticated year, he will be one of the starting corners and take the next step. The other safety position and other corner back position is up for grabs.

Auggie Sanchez and Nigel Harris open spring tomorrow as starters at LB spot, with Tashon Whitehurst right there behind Sanchez. He's come on big time this spring for his senior year, and is expected to overtake Auggie based on aggresiveneas, physical Ability, and instincts. Jimmy Bayes is opening up spring as the backup to Nigel Harris. Taggart really wanted to play him last year, but he asked Willie to redshirt to keep a year of eligibility. He's going to come out of nowhere.

The players love new DC Tom Allen, this defense even with Demetrius Hill potentially leaving has the potential to be tremendous. He's set high goals for the Bulls, biting pickup.

All talked about on offense is Marlon Mack, which we all know already. He'll be our best offensive player by far, and he's taking it to another level. No other expected bigtime playmakers like Mack at QB, other rbs, and wide receiver. There is a lot of worry about the offense and quarterback right now inside the clubhouse. The players for the most part want Quentin Flowers to be the QB, not Mike White. White is not their guy, they dont think hes a player. Many of the team feel Taggart should have committed to to Flowers all the way towards last half of year.

Most of the players know this is Taggarts last year like many of us believe unless he wins big. They know if he doesn't win 7 or more games he's gone. They are also really down about the attendance and fan support, they want to the come back but understand if they win big they will come back.
