This guy is unbelievable. After his ACL injury in the opening game of the season, he didn't mope around feeling sorry for himself. He had the knee operated on and got into rehabilitating the knee. He also served as an ad hoc coach for the RBs and was a voice in the RB room. He worked to help Jonathan Taylor become a better RB. Taylor started off slow, but ended with a burst.and wound up the NFL's 3rd ranked rusher with 1169 yards @ 5.0 ypc. 11 tds and 36 catches for 299 yards and 8.3 ypc and 1 TD.

Frank Reich loves Marlon Mack and would like to keep him if they can. The feeling is that Mack is such a team guy that he would remain and accept a back up role to Tayler. If Mack can fully recover, a Taylor-Mack tandem would be maybe the best RB tandem in the NFL. The Indy GM indicated if they couldn't come to agreement with Mack on a contract and his free agency offers were dry (because of the injury), that they would be willing to sign Mack to a one year prove it deal.

Mack is an unrestricted free agent in March. I say if Mack tests the free agent market the Bucs should try to sign him. He would give the Bucs a great one-two punch and he knows how to run on the turf of the Ray Jay.
