I had the opportunity today to play 18 holes at Southern Hills today with CJS. It was my first meaningful interaction with him, and to essentially have 6 hours with him (including thunderstorm delay) was a real treat.

- He had the opportunity to take the Memphis job at the same time he accepted the USF job, and chose the USF job because of its upside
- Believes there is full alignment between Law, Kelly and himself on the resources USF athletics, and in Scott's case football, need - referenced that Law has an OCS in her Top 3 strategic priorities for the university
- Believes they will be in the IPF sometime during the season, but not before
- Says Bohannan is THAT leader teams need in order to succeed - specifically mentioned in his 2nd week of practice Bohannan pulled the players together in the middle of practice after they were complaining about drills, and basically told them there was no room for that
- Clearly has a strong appreciation for what Leavitt built at USF
- Told alot of great Clemson stories lol
