It was a small sample size against a mediocre defense, but Byrum Brown provided the best quarterback play last night that we've seen since Blake Barnett. No one else since Blake, Bohanon included, has displayed that kind of touch and decision making. Brown appears to be better than Marsh already and should continue to develop as he gets more reps. Based on last night, I can't see how you could rule him out as a contender for QB1 next year. The shame of this disastrous season is that Travis Trickett has done a really solid job. The offense has mostly gotten better as the season has progressed, and last night's game plan may have been the year's best. Battie is a fierce competitor and a joy to watch.
