Here is a look at the current active mutual interest targets that I can confirm.
WRs: Current Targets
Played some for the Tigers, fits the mold of the WR types that Jeff Scott loves and USF is actively recruiting only played about 100 snaps all-together mostly in garbage time over two years except for the Georgia State game. 10 career targets and 7 catches for 126 yards and TD.
OLs:
Started 11 of 12 games at LT for the Panthers and was one of the top-performing OLs in his conference. He would be an immediate upgrade at LT for the Bulls and he has three years left as well.
Starting left guard for the Panthers put up better numbers than many of the Bulls OGs in most of his games, he has a ton of schools showing interest. Has three solid years of playing experience and two years to play two.
DEs: Current Targets
Has two sacks in only about 250 career snaps which is not terrible, was the second LE for the Gophers this past year and played pretty well.
LBs: Current Targets
Played MIKE linebacker for Maryland on a not great defense and struggled some as a true frosh trying to play in the Big Ten, had 22 tackles and is a VERY good tackler.
One that got away that the old USF staff badly wanted. Gordon really struggled in 2021 on the field, but looked better as a true freshman in 2020 playing some, not a ton of experience and still viewed as a bit of a tweener LB.
DB: Current Targets
Brown played corner, nickel and safety for the Wildcats in reserve role, is friends with Will Jones and a local kid aiming to come home.
