As covered here before, reliable sources have informed RTB that Andres Feliz' eligibility is "pending" with the NCAA.
According to the sources at issue are high school classes that Feliz took in the Dominican Republic.
The sources maintain that Feliz has been accepted into USF as a student per his GPA and test score, but the NCAA Eligibility Center has not cleared him.
Over the weekend were told that Feliz has options to go pro overseas and that there are several JuCos that are recruiting him for this season.
Barring the NCAA Eligibility Center clearing Feliz and the point guard enrolling in January, we do not expect to see him ever wearing a Bulls uniform.
Along with Troy Baxter receiving his release, not having Feliz is a gut punch to a program that has had its share of bad news since the news broke in July that USF and the NCAA enforcement staff were working together to investigate and resolve an inquiry into potential violations of NCAA bylaws.
