The annual Wally Keller Classic at Punta Gorda Charlotte HS tips off tonight and continues all day tomorrow. Teams featured in this year's event include: Montverde Academy, Pebblebrook (GA), Potter's House, Miami Norland, Mariner, Tallahassee Godby, Marianna, Tampa Prep, Oak Ridge, Miami Beach, St. Petersburg Gibbs, Zion Lutheran, Sarasota Riverview, Sarasota Christian and Sarasota Cardinal Mooney among others.
I'll be there all day tomorrow in the main gym (the school has an auxiliary gym) and I expect USF to have a coach in the gym evaluating prospects. Unfortunately one of those prospects will not be 2016 Marianna SG Herman Williams as he tore his meniscus and is out of action until AAU season. Williams holds an offer from USF.
