TAMPA, Fla. (January 21, 2025) – The University of South Florida men’s basketball team makes its first trip to North Carolina this week for a Wednesday, January 22, contest with Charlotte. The Bulls (10-8, 3-2) and the 49ers (7-12, 0-6) are scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip on ESPN+.
CJ Brown was named the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week earlier this week. He recorded a career-high 16 points in USF’s win against Tulsa on Saturday. Brown averaged 12.5 points per game and 3.5 rebounds per game for the week. He led the team with seven steals and added four assists.
CJ’s Stellar Statline
Against Tulsa, CJ Brown became the only USF player this century to record 15 or more points, four or more steals, and zero turnovers in a single game.
