TAMPA, Fla. (January 24, 2025) – The University of South Florida men’s basketball team heads back to North Carolina for a Saturday contest with East Carolina. The Bulls (10-9, 3-3) and the Pirates (11-9, 3-4) are slated for a 1 p.m. tip on ESPN+.
CJ Brown was named the AAC Freshman of the Week earlier this week. Against Tulsa, he became the only USF player this century to record 15 or more points, four or more steals, and zero turnovers in a single game. Only four other AAC players have matched that statline this season. He is the first USF player to achieve that statline since B.B. Waldon did it on December 21, 1999, against The Citadel.
