...had 17 points in Arlington Country Day's loss to Tampa Prep. ACD didn't have anyone keeping stats for rebounds, blocks etc but by my count Tulio grabbed six rebounds. All of his points came either off of put backs or on straight line drives from the high post to the basket. He has a really nice shot fake.

I first saw Tulio play in early October 2014 and between then and now I've seen no improvement on his jump shot. He needs a mid-range game to compliment his play in the paint.

Tulio has a good motor and is a competitor. I've said it before, but for the benefit of new subscribers, and I'll say it again -- Tulio Da Silva's best basketball is in front of him.

On a side note, ACD has a sophomore named Ibrahim Doumbia. He's one to remember. He's a legit 6-foot-7, pushing 6-foot-8 and about 190 pounds. Doumbia is a big time athlete. I first saw him on August 9th last year at the Panhandle Showcase and he made some eye popping plays in transitions. After watching him tonight I could tell that he has really worked on his jump shot. Currently he only holds offers from Baylor and UTEP but I've been told that South Carolina and USC are interested. Particularly South Carolina. Frank Martin has seen him play and really likes him according to a source in SC.
