It was a good road win in a tough environment and I didn't know what to expect with us being on the road. To go out and play the way our guys played. We really took advantage in the second half and made the plays we are capable of especially coming off a loss. I was really pleased with our guys and the plays they made after a loss. We got to playing with speed like we are capable of. I thought our guys played very sound.
ON ECU'S ZAY JONES
It is going to be a challenge. We have to make sure we know where he is on every single play. If you don't know where he is at, it's wrong. He is a tremendous talent and the numbers show that. When you turn on the film, it doesn't lie. We've got to make sure where he is at, at all times and make sure we get to the QB.
ON PUTTING UP 35-PLUS POINTS EVERY WEEK ON OFFENSE
It is good to see and we have some talent over there and we think we can continue to get better. I think we see a bunch of guys with a lot confidence on that side of the ball who think we can score every time we get the ball and that is what you are seeing out there. It is a confident group of guys that have a passion for getting to the end zone.
ON EVEN BALANCE OF RUN AND PASS ON OFFENSE
It is whatever we are getting. We don't necessarily want to be balanced, we take whatever the defense is giving us. We feel like we are talented on the edges and talented in the backfield so we can run it. We take the lane we are given and it is going well for us.
ON RODNEY ADAMS' RUNNING
It is just a part of offense and he has shown he can do it pretty well, we use him in that aspect and in the pass game. We like to get it to our best players however we can.
ON INJURIES
Billy Atterbury is out, everybody is probable, Billy is out. He has a fracture in his leg, he is out for a while. He was doing a good job, first time playing, he got reps and was doing a good job for us. Marcus Norman will start there for us and do a good job.
ON THE OL PLAY SO FAR
Think they are doing a great job of playing with synergy and we played very physical in this past FB game. They are having fun playing with each other and I think that will get better.
ON GETTING PAST FSU LOST
We got back to doing what we do, it wasn't the end of the world so we worked on fundamentals and correcting some stuff.
ON GETTING IN GEAR UP THERE AT CINCY
Once our guys figured out how Cincy was going to attack us, we played with fanatical effort and it was good to see out of our guys.
ON HEAT IN RAYJAY THIS WEEK
Here you can, just go outside and play it is as hot as other places in the summer. That is a mental thing and both teams have to play in it, you have to be in shape.
