...Eduardo Placer, a 2023 guard at Windermere Prep. He was previously at The Master's Academy.
He has already been on an unofficial to UCF and will likely take another UOV to watch a UCF practice soon. UCF was out to see him recently as was Illinois. Villanova and Florida have been in-touch and I hear Xavier will be soon.
He is on USF's radar but he hasn't heard from the Bulls yet.
Placer is a skilled, lanky, lefty combo guard, who can dribble, pass and shoot it. He is an above average athlete. I really like his feel for the game and, at 6-foot-4, he has good size for a point guard.
Current offers are FAU, UNF and Southeast Louisiana BUT I think he's got a chance to be really good.
I watched Windermere Prep scrimmage Dr. Phillips today and Placer had 13 points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds, three steals and 1 turnover. He didn't have his best game shooting the ball but he filled up the stat sheet and played with poised against an opponent who has a Florida commit and a Mississippi State commit in its backcourt.
