Central Pointe Christian Academy (FL) Wing Victor Rosa took an unofficial visit to USF at the end of last month. He visited on a Saturday with his teammates, watched the Bulls practice and got a tour of the facilities.
Rosa played for the Puerto Rican team in both the FIBA Americas U18 Championships in Canada and at the FIBA U17 World Cup in Argentina.
He averaged 6.5 points and 1.5 rebounds playing up in age at the U18 level, but shot the ball better against U17 competition and averaged 15.4 points and 3.4 rebounds to help Puerto Rico get the bronze medal.
He moved to the U.S. a couple of months ago.
