Tampa, Fla. – For the junior class, the short weeks leading to Sept. 1 can be both exciting and grueling at the same time. Come the first of September, college football programs can start reaching out to prospects fully beginning the recruiting process. For three-star Berkeley Prep defensive tackle Nikhil Jefferson, that recruiting launch date can’t come quick enough with six offers in hand.
Asked about his interest in backyard program South Florida, Jefferson replied, “My parents and I have been talking about going to a South Florida game. I think I am going to the USF vs. Florida (Sept. 17) game. I do want to check that out.”
