this article from Tom Jones really puts things in perspective and how I feel about the whole situation. While I want results right away like any fan, I get the feeling that CWT is getting us finally pointed in the right direction. We can't be as knee jerked as Miami...if this season finishes 6-6 or so then we should consider staying the course. I think we can all agree that it appears CWT finally has the right recipe and just needs a bit more time for the recipe to simmer, and eventually explode. Next year having Woulard and Flowers battle it out for the starting job will mean we'll have the best QB possible, with Kean right behind them. The OL is finally developing and the program looks like the vision is right. Don't go and get all knee jerked and make this another rebuilding job, let's see what CWT can do with one more year if he remains competitive throughout the season. I think he will do that, the team seems mentally and physically prepared to do that. If we can stay competitive then one more year, and hopefully some continued quality recruiting and transfers will only amplify this team's potential next year. Getting back Calloway, and a few others, getting Woulard, Cherry, and Valdez eligible, Reilly Gibbons, and Clerveaux healthy, bringing in more talent will make this a very competitive team next year too.
