Up front I have doubts that a sport of such prominence in American history is headed in the right direction. Great players allowed the sport to grow into a major industry at both the college and professional level. When everything is based solely on sports betting that is in effect slapping these great players in the face. It is doing the same to loyal fans who watch football for the love of the game.
Look at our board. There is little conversation of the game that doesn't relate to the spread, the odds or the over-under. Football is strictly for degenerate gamblers. Legalize sports betting everywhere, let people lose everything they own betting sports. Casino's don't get as grandiose as they are by losing money. The new economy is sick. That's just one Bulls-Bucs true fan's opinion.
