...on an unofficial visit to Florida. To my knowledge Hester is the first in-state kid to visit campus since the coaching change. Mike White loves Hester and has prioritized him, he even called Eric prior to his introductory press conference and it is paying off with this visit.
Hester wasn't feeling Florida anymore when Billy Donovan left, but since his first conversation with White, his interest in the Gators has been rejuvenated.
The visit surprised me and even my best UF source. I texted with Hester yesterday afternoon and he said that Florida was "really after me" but he didn't answer my question about whether or not he was going to visit soon to meet the new coaches -- yet he's visiting today.
