I really don't because whenever I see stuff like this, I always cringe myself when I see USF fans talk about it this early but I'm going to ask it. Considering how the CFP committee has shown some respect to the AAC this year, do you think it's a possibility that we could finish in the top 25 this year? At first, I just sort of smirked at the idea because hey...we are coming off an incredible turn around and want people to pump their brakes a bit on the expectations. After what we have been through, I want USF fans to enjoy the ride and not be so quick to throw unreal expectations on this team already. That's what was happening in the mid 2000s.
However, we have a real shot to win our division this year. So, if we do, and have played well against some tough opponents this year and many of them ranked, you think they will notice? My main concern will be how many losses we have. Would they even consider putting someone in who has 4 losses, even on the back end? Would they take into consideration how we finished and improved and not so much the season as a whole? Maybe we would have to actually win the conference and not so much be just the division leader. Or maybe we would have to do the unbelievable and win the division, then the conference and then the bowl game. I don't really know. It's just something that I can't help but think about and I kind of hate myself for it.
