Too much negativity coming from our "fans" on these boards. I figure I post some numbers. As many of you know, I’m a numbers and stats guy. While they don’t tell the whole story, they do reveal parts that might otherwise go unnoticed. For those doubting CAG’s progress, I’ve compared his recruiting rankings with those of Jeff Scott, and the difference is damn near night and day. CAG still needs to improve his transfer player recruiting rankings, but he has the opportunity to do so this year, as I expect him to bring in at least 25-30 transfers or JUCO players.

It’s also important to note that Jeff Scott’s 31st transfer portal ranking in 2022 deserves an asterisk, as many of those players ended up transferring out or not contributing. This is why you’re seeing more younger players getting snaps—CAG has boosted our overall talent. How effectively we utilize the transfer portal this year will shape our future. The 2023 and 2024 classes need one more year before they hit their peak. Additionally, this is the last year for the remaining Charlie Strong players, and most of Jeff Scott’s players will be gone too. If they don’t transfer out, maybe 7-10 will remain.

Conclusion: We are getting better talent, but they will need another year b4 becoming major impact players.
