‘Some things were unacceptable’: Jeff Scott on why Nick Roberts is no longer with USF
The head coach said it was best for the program and the junior safety to move on following Friday’s game.

As I’ve posted before this is indicative of the issues....an environment that was fostered under CCS where players could
do what they wanted and were not held accountable.
This is the real problem this issue is rampant all throughout the roster. Good to see Scott was the one that decided to part ways, AND Scott had a Frank conversation with the team explaining both why Roberts is gone and what the expectations are for this team. Time for Scott to clean house no more doing their own thing, time to commit themselves again back in the weight room, back to committing to the staff and development or hit the damn road!!!!
BTW, how fortuitous for Scott to meet Dungy when he did and have him talk to these kids. These kids, this team, needs to start committing themselves to the small stuff. From punter all the way through not one player is immune. Commit completely to this program or staff...or leave.
