There is a lot to this situation including Mack's family who don't enjoy all the extra loving smothered on D'Ernest Johnson in EVERY broadcast (statements like "coach Taggart says he may be the best all-around player on the team, etc...) and he has a few options, but I don't see the draft as being a realistic one right now. He may not even be a NFL RB, some NFL scouts see him as a DB on the next level and some as a RB. At one point some in his family wanted him to transfer somewhere he would be appreciated or could help his NFL stock. CWT seems to have sensed some of this and chilled out with the praise on DJ. It is a weird situation for Marlon, but it would be in his best interests to come back, it looks like the NFL draft could be deep at RB and it is not as much a money position as before so if you screw up you can drop down to 5-7th round and really be in trouble.
