Some on here know that I coach. Today, the FHSAA sent us a survey about NIL for high school players. I said that it had no business at the high school level. It's not like my school (or majority of schools) is making money off players. This, imo, will just make factories like IMG and the private schools like CDS or whatever even more "rich" with talent because they'll be able to afford it to some degree. They'll be able to poach kids from certain schools in certain areas. Schools like where I coach (or most public schools) would never be able to pay NIL. I really hope they don't go this way or I'll probably have to step away from school ball.
