Brian Gregory offered 2022 forward Jaret Valencia earlier today. Originally from Columbia, South America, Valencia has been in the U.S. for a couple of years and attends HS in Texas.
According to an article I read, Valencia's father, Álvaro Teherán, was a second-round pick of the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1991 NBA Draft. Teherán played his final two seasons of CBB at Houston. The Cougars have offered Valencia as have Creighton, Loyola Marymount, Marquette, Mississippi State, Rutgers, San Diego State, South Carolina, Washington State, Oral Roberts and a few other mid majors.

Just learned that Valencia might be connected to the same person who brought Bayron Matos to the U.S.
