Mitchell didn’t measure all that well...on roster he was listed at 6-5 245lbs, at Combine he was 6-3 flat and 247lbs...not a long arms or wing span, and smallish hands. He was in the bottom 3rd for TE’s at the 40, one of the worst verticals, bottom half of broad jump, and 3 cone drill, and bottom half of 20 shuttle.
His 4.88 forty as one of the smallest TE’s and not benching really is assuring him that he is what they thought a late round pick. Not close to the Kmet, Hunter Bryant, by comparison Bryant is a smaller flex TE like Wilcox but ran a 4.74, had a better vertical, much better 3 cone, he benched and was #2 in TE’s with 23, and was prolific for 3 yrs in college. Wilcox should still slide in the late rounds but he better brush up on special teams.
