It's been a long time since I woke up excited for a game day such as this. So many opportunities today. As we appear to be surging forward, top teams in our conference are starting to show some holes. I don't see how anyone can look at the Temple/Navy/ECU/Cincinnati run as
a definite run of 4 losses, as most probably thought 1 month ago. Today is a big one. We can't stumble looking ahead. We simply aren't good enough or experienced enough to overlook anyone, home or away.
Although some of you will gripe about it, I'd expect a healthy healthy dose of the run game early. There's no reason to risk turnovers if we can pound SMU on the ground, which I think we can. That said, we've seen how much better Adams is when he's incorporated early. That is a must!
