I thought our guys gave a great effort other than maybe about a 10 minute stretch in the second half where we just didn't do a very good job on the glass. I think at one point we were down 38-24 on the glass and they just kept getting extra possessions. Our zone was good. Early, it was effective, but they really hurt us with second chance baskets on that and I think two of the threes that they hit and then we're off a second chance. Then we tighten it up and the last eight minutes did a great job of controlling the glass and and getting out and getting some transition baskets because of it.
Sam is sick, didn't didn't help, just not able to go. Jamir's foul trouble obviously as well. When you're on the road and you're aggressive and you get to, you know, that's the best, you know, in terms of you know, getting to the line the best in the league is Temple. We go 21 times they go 22 and the difference is we go 8-of-21.
You know, they did a great job on a couple of key possessions at the end of the game. You know, ran our stuff and just not able to get anything. You know, went to one guy one time one guy the other and they just had a really good job defensively. We talked about you had to be tough. I thought we at times were really, really tough. You got to be disciplined. I think to 17 turnovers hurt us again, you know, and it's you know, 14-13 points off turnovers. Second chance points, you know, we get 12 [offensive] rebounds, we score 17 on that, again, you know, we move the ball pretty well, 17 assists, or 18 assists on 30 baskets. But we had some guys that, you know, you had been playing well didn't play quite as well, but you gotta give them [Temple] credit. They just toughed it out.
