The Bulls will continue recruiting efforts through the end of spring ball that could include some interesting transfers as new staffs settle in and set pecking orders, etc...

A few notes on targets:
JUCO DT J.J. Holmes may end up a Bull, but he has some work to do because he is a special admit like Mackenro Alexander, both could end up here this summer or just Alexander depends on how they do. J.C. Jackson sort of falls into this boat as well and WR and former UF signee D'Anfernee McGriff, they all have work to do in the classroom.

Former USF commit OLB Paul Dawson is headed to Arizona Western CC, LB Devin Miller is headed to Hutchinson CC and DB Lynval Sutherland is headed to Ellsworth CC, keep an eye out for those three in 2018. All three have good relationships with the staff.

Xavier Gaines almost became a Bull, but CWT promised Chris Oladokun he would be the only QB in the class, Gaines took a secret OV to USF, but ended being stuck with Marshall.

The one QB they may have taken over Oladokun was Hallandale's Tyler Huntley. Huntley signed with Utah and USF could have got him if they had taken Chris Cotto over DeVontres Dukes and maybe one other kid from that team. CWT didn't think three for one was worth it and Cotto heads to WKU and Huntley to Salt Lake City. Not taking Gaines or Huntley could haunt the Bulls down the line....

USF passed on DEs Anthony Knighton (grades) and Jamal Smith (grades) who both have not signed anywhere yet, both probably need a year at prep school.

Mike Love's knee injury is not serious, but he may be limited in the spring. Reilly Gibbons is one more injury away from a medical DQ from what I've been hearing. He has been very unlucky and they are wondering if he will ever be healthy enough to compete.
