Evans, son of former Oklahoma State assistant coach Lamont Evans, graduated from Blanche Ely HS (Pompano Beach, FL), the same HS Laquincy Rideau graduated from.
Thursday USF held a walk-on meeting in the Pam and Les Muma Basketball Center men's basketball practice gym.
This meeting was to go over expectations the staff has of its walk-ons and to gauge the interest level the meeting attendees really had.
According to a source, who was leaving the Muma Center when the prospective walk-ons were arriving, there were between 6-8 guys waiting in the lobby.
