Ashley 'A.J.' James out of Virginia Beach, Va. James was one of the top performers at the Southern Jam Fest last weekend in Hampton, Va.
James graduated from Green Run High School this year but will take a Post-Grad year at Hargrave Military Academy, thus reclassifying into the 2020 class. In the past three weeks James has picked up offers from ETSU, Fresno State, Hofstra, Murray State, St. Louis, VCU and now USF.
Thru 10-games with District WAWG James has a 23.3 percent assist rate. That puts him in the top-15 in the Under Armour Association (UAA). James is expected to visit N.C. State next month where he could pick up another visit.
