USF offered 2022 Westminster Academy 6-foot-10 PF Ben Middlebrooks today. Playing up on the Florida Vipers 16U team, Middlebrooks averaged 14.5 pts, 10 rebs & 2 asts per game in the Under Armour Association this travel team season.
FGCU is Middlebrooks only other offer at this time.
Middlebrooks is a hard playing, physical forward, who can really rebound. He is a slightly better than average athlete, has some offensive polish and inside/outside ability. He plays in a winning program at Westminster Academy where the team just won its third straight state championship in March. In fact, Middlebrooks averaged 17.5 points, eight rebounds and five blocks in two games in Lakeland to help his team win the 2019 Class 4A state championship.
I expect Middlebrooks to receive an invite to next month's USF Elite Camp.
