Granted everyone is disappointed at losing a game where the offense played more than well enough to win especially if we would have gotten any support from the defense we win hands down.

However, last time I checked we woke up Saturday morning and Coach Taggart was our coach, not Skip Holtz. Taggart has shown tremendous resiliency and ability to adjust during his tenure at USF.

In terms of the AACCG, we simply need Temple to lose one more game and we need to get back to basics on defense. If we can do that we can win the next four games which means we would host the AAC Championship Game on December 3rd.

The big if is whether the defense can make any midseason adjustments to give the offense and special teams a chance to win games. We just need a little bit of defense to get through the season.

I don't think that is unrealistic and our future is still in our hands. In terms of team goals, 10 wins is still well in sight which would be a program first, nevermind a chance at conference championship.

I am still pissed at Woodie and company...but I'd rather focus on the positives right now while we still have that possibility instead of moaning and kvetching about how bad this program is and how it's NEVER, EVER going to win another game garbage.
