I am looking at the national rivals recruiting site and Mike Farrell ranking the top 50 players in college football this year. He's down to #31 and no mention of Flowers. I will tell you if Flowers doesn't get into that Top 50 it will say what we all thought about Farrell...there are not 50 better college players than Flowers. I guarantee Mike Farrell the big schlep that is a mouth piece for the big schools and conferences....some of his columns are bad. I know he won't take Flowers, hell Donnell Humphrey only made 48th...the all-time leading rusher in college football history. The guy that tore up the 3rd best rush defense in the nation, Houston, for 156 yards.
Of course he's down to #31 and already has 4 Alabama, 3 LSU, 3 Clemson, and 3 OSU....and he hasn't even named their best players. I am betting Bama gets at least 8 or 9 on the list, and Clemson near the same. Hard to read this stuff when it isn't grounded in realism.
At the G5 level there are at least 5-6 guys that should be placed in elite company with their P5 counterparts, and Flowers is one of them.
