Here are some guys that deserve notice from the spring game:
- Jaymon Thomas (wow is he long and very athletic). He may be a great safety for us.....this year.
- Tice.....looked very fast for his size and ran in a very punishing way. It will be tough for teams.
- D. Johnson.....looked good and was quicker without as much weight
- Sands....already mentioned but kid is going to ball. Not sure if they are going to redshirt him or not because he seems like he can contribute now. But we are already stacked at RB.
- Auggie.....I have been hard on him for his weak tackling ability last year. He looks more powerful and decisive in what he is doing. However, it was against an offense he sees everyday. Let's see if it continues against other competition.
- AJ Legree/McCants.....both WR's looked good
- Hoggins....his quickness and ball skills look very good. Great interception in the game too.
