Maybe we shouldn't pencil the UCF game as a win just yet.
UCF looks to be in the doldrums after a 45-31 loss at Tulane. The knights had 5 turnovers. One was a ball stripped from a receiver as he was headed toward the goal line, that never hit the ground and was run back to set the Green Wave up on offense.....OUCH !!!!! Freshman QB Bo Schneider started the game and was pretty much ineffective going, 20/37 236 yards 1 TD and 3 INTs. The Knights entered the 4th quarter trailing 38-10.
4th quarter, enter redshirt freshman QB Tyler Harris 6'4" 228 lbs, Blackshear Ga (a notorious speed trap in south Ga.). I got ticketed up there back in the early 70s and the cop must have dropped out of a tree, because he came out of nowhere. But that's another story.
Harris was the 12th rated pro style QB and a 4 star recruit by ESPN and a 3 star recruit with Rivals in the 2014 recruiting class. Harris was an all AAC academic student last year. The kid comes off the bench and throws 3 TDs in the 4th quarter with no INTs. UCF outscored Tulane 21-7 in the 4th quarter. Harris has a YTD passers rating of 121. He could be the guy to put the Knights back in business.
I hope they win all of the rest of their games until we go over there in November and hand them their ass !!!!
