According to a source there is some relationship building going on between the USF staff and 2023 forward Justin Johnson. An offer may be on the horizon.
Johnson currently claims offers from Georgetown, FGCU and Texas-Rio Grand Valley.
He just announced that he is transferring from Doral Academy (FL) to Donda Academy in Simi Valley, CA.
At 6-foot-8, 200-pounds, Johnson is a strong, versatile, capable shot maker with some inside/outside skill. He has a good feel for the game and is an above average athlete.
He averaged 22.2 points and 6.1 rebounds for Doral Academy last season.
We contacted Johnson and asked him about his recruitment but he declined to comment at this time.
