...Kennesaw State associate head coach Ben Fletcher and assistant coach William Small are near locks to join CAAR in Tampa. Barring a sudden change, that leaves one more spot for an assistant coach who will be able to do off-campus recruiting.

So, as I see it, the options are:

• Retain a current USF assistant coach
• Bring a support staff member from Kennesaw State and make them an assistant coach
• Hire someone not currently on the USF or KSU staff.

My source believes, option No. 2 will happen. Time will tell but time is of the essence because the dead period ends on Thursday.
