So they lost, obviously, 90-71. Now, McMurray seemed to play a lot better game just looking at the numbers and not seeing anything. He shot 50% both from the field and from three for a total of 13 points.
Perry only had 8 points and 6 rebounds in 21 minutes of play. Again, I think that this is what we can expect from him until he's back in shape and where he used to be. Out of all of that time, he only had 4 shot attempts. He did nice at the FT though going to the line 5 times and knocking down 4 of them.
Roddy Peters again hit double digits this game with 10 and shot 40%, no attempts from three. He also had 4 assists and 3 steals.
Morillo continues his streaky play and went off this game with 16 points, shooting 80% FG and missing both three point attempts. Maybe that's something Antigua stressed to Morillo. If so, it seems to have worked. Not sure if those points came from driving or just pulling up and shooting. Either way, nice to see him only miss two of the shots within the arc. He also contributed with 5 rebounds and 3 steals but looked like he almost fouled out of the game with 5 penalties.
Cousins continues with his nice play, and I'll say better than I expected. Today he was 3/6 and 3/6 at the line giving him 9 points. He also cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds, very close to a double double. If he can tighten up that FT percentage, he'll definitely be a weapon this year from the looks of things. This was a good team they went up against afterall with big bodies. He did have 4 fouls.
Rueben fell off a bit from his first game performance with a rough one. He only scored 2 points with 20% shooting. Must be him struggling with the bigger bodies today if I were to take a guess. He had 4 rebounds.
Bo with a better game today. No three pointers attempts today but he did shoot 60% from the field. He also made 3/4 of his FTs giving him a total score of 9. He also had 3 rebounds and one steal.
Despite our opponent having a bigger team, we were only out rebounded by 3. I think we lost the game due to not making enough of our three point attempts (although we didn't take many, only 8) and we sent them to the line 21 more times than they sent us to the line.
