Today both Florida and Maryland have offered 2017 Tampa Catholic SF Kevin Knox.
An athletic and skilled 6-foot-7 rising junior is ranked the 21st best player in the Rivals100 for the 2017 class. His stock has been trending up this summer since making Team USA's U16 team in June and recently competing at the Nike Peach Jam with E1T1 Elite 17U team. Knox averaged 12.6 points and seven rebounds per game at Peach Jam last week despite being one of the youngest players, at 15, at the event. He won't turn 16 until next month.
Florida becomes his eighth reported offer. Memphis, Florida State, Miami, Georgia, Maryland, USF and Xavier have also extended a scholarship.
