I found it interesting that freshman Mitchell Wilcox was getting reps with the first team on offense in today's practice. My guess is that they wouldn't just throw him in there if he hadn't shown something or if someone wasn't injured. That's pretty cool to see. Coming in, some analysts were saying he was an underrated TE. Maybe not to the extent of Kano but underrated nonetheless. Kano has been impressive thus far so for Wilcox to be getting first team reps, that could be a good sign. I'd love to have both he, Kano, Price and Pope all ready to go this year and ready to contribute and make some sort of impact. Creating depth.
