WR- Demetri Burch (Apopka HS) Lost 40-39 to Timber Creek in the opening round of the playoffs. Burch ran for three scores and threw for two more in the narrow loss. His team blew a late 39-27 lead.
WR- Daewood Davis (Deerfield Beach HS) Won 27-7 over Western in the first round, face Flanagan this week. Davis had a 40-yard touchdown reception in the win.
OT- Jean Marcellus (Jefferson HS) Beat Lakewood 34-33 and will face Jesuit this week in round two.
OG- Jeremiah Stafford (North Marion) Lost 41-38 in the opening round to Clay.
DT- J'Bril Glaze (Jefferson HS) Beat Lakewood 34-33 and will face Jesuit this week in round two. Glaze had two sacks and five total tackles in the win.
DT- Kevin Kegler (Madison County HS) Still undefeated with a 42-7 win over Baldwin in the opening round of the playoffs. Face Fort White this week. Kegler had 18 yards rushing on two carries and a touchdown.
WDE- Darrien Grant (Southeast-Bradenton) Lost 33-24 to Dunbar on the road in the opening round. Grant have five tackles and a TFL.
LB- Michael Scott (North Florida Christian) Beat Cedar Creek Christian 59-0 in the opening round. Scott had seven tackles and five tackles for a loss in the win. Face University Christian this week.
CB- Bentlee Sanders (Tampa Catholic) Won 25-10 over Trinity Catholic last week. Face Berkeley Prep in the second round. Sanders had three catches for 29 yards Sanders had a forced fumble on a long play early in the game to help stop a scoring drive.
S- Mekhi Lapointe (Armwood) Improved to 10-1 with a win 41-20 win over Auburndale and will face Lake Gibson this week. Lapointe had nine tackles in the win.
ATH- Emare Hogan (Dr. Phillips) Won 39-7 over Manatee and will face Riverview in round two. Hogan had 10 rushes for 68 yards, 1 TD and three receptions for 43 yards.
ATH- Bruce Judson (Cocoa HS) beat Bishop Verot 64-0 and will face Jones in the second round. Judson hit 6-10 passing for 122 yards 2 TDs, ran 1 time for 22 yards.
