Thought I'd run down the coaching carousel here in the AAC. We're going to have a minimum of 4 new coaches in the league next year. Lot of young coaches in the league. Lot of hotshot assistants getting chances and probably a few more before the year is done.
Extension:
Tom Herman (Age 40) signs a 5 year deal at $2.8 a year up from $1.35. Houston had approved $3million but the $200K difference went to the assistant pool.

Memphis hires Arizona state OC Mike Norvell (Age 34) to replace Justin Fuente. ASU offense averaged 474 yards and 33.8 PPG. Do not have the salary but he was making $900K as ASU OC.

UCF hires Scott Frost (Age 40) for $1.7 million. His budget for staff is $2.3 million.

ECU cans Ruffin McNeil after the 5-7 year this year. They went 8-5, 10-3, 8-5 in the 3 years before that. "In the school's announcement athletics director Jeff Compher noted that ECU is just 8-8 in league play since joining the American Athletic Conference. Compher said in the release “our expectations are to compete for championships.”"
Tulane fired HC Curtis Johnson last month. They just hired Northern Iowa AD Troy Dannen so they'll be hiring shortly.
