Back on August 18th Smith's father told me that his son "feels pretty comfortable with his choices now and wants all the calls to stop."
USF stopped recruiting Smith soon after getting a commitment from Trey Moss but Smith isn't a lead guard. Also, he has grown some. Mr. Smith said Jalen is "6-foot-5 with shoes but I think he is still growing."
