USF 65 Cincy 27 !!! HI HO STEVERINO !!!!! You wrote the book on this game. I was worried because of Cincy's team speed on offense. Our defense was relentless and those two young corners (Hoggins & Nichols) were great.
In the "Manatee Mafia" article, Joe Kinan called it when he said "USF is a potential TCU on offense." I am so happy for CWT and all the coaches and all the team. They took a heavy barrage of criticism for the whole early part of the season. They were stoic about it and just kept working at getting better. People are getting back on the bus now.
This team has some very nice pieces, but more than any individual, these guys are a team. The O-line is opening some gaping holes for all the RBs. The receivers are blocking downfield. The D-line is showing great gap discipline and they are tackling good. Cincy's 3 headed RB monster was bottled up all night and that hurt their passing game bad. Auggie is calling a great game and our LBs are running to the ball.
