Wagers said "Coach O isn't coaching these kids too hard. Hope he rips into them and starts to shrink the rotation soon." I agree. It is like he is just letting them play while he tries to figure out who he can use and how he can use them.
BU outscored the Bulls 30 to zip from behind the arc and the Bulls only lost by 12 for what it's worth. BU had way too many uncontested shots. The Bulls played lousy defense. BU had 6 less TOs than the Bulls did. Foul shooting was bad except for Cousins and Peters. No one wanted to step up, so it was left pretty much to Peters and McMurray down the stretch.
The team looked uninspired and at times totally listless. Guerrero played with very little energy. Perry also. BU had some shooters who were quite good. Our shooters weren't as good inside or outside.
The game was painful to watch. The season is still young. This team plays good in spurts, but they can't do it consistently. They obviously are not a team yet.
